Ailish graduated from The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in 2014. She has worked with a wide range of choreographers and artists, including Malviniemi Company, Liz Roche Company, Lucia Kickham, Carima Neusser, Raimund Hoghe, Janne Aspvik, Carina Ahlskog and others. 

Her own work encompasses performance, choreography, writing, and screendance. Her practice as an artist aslo includes improvisation and image-making. She is interested in the associations and abstractions that emerge from movement, the body, and performance.
